The YAATZ Method — Simplified

How to put AI to work in a real business — counsel first, then build. By Daniel VanCott, yaatz.ai.

  1. Load the facts. Your operations, history, and numbers. The counsel knows nothing about your business unless you tell it.
  2. Frame the problem. Not the symptom — the decision underneath it.
  3. Every seat answers. Ask every AI to answer it, verify it, challenge it, and name the consequences. Any model can sit in any seat.
  4. Read the disagreement. Where they concur, diverge, differ, and what is missing.
  5. You decide. Intelligence is not authority. Weigh it and choose. If it isn't settled, reframe the problem with what you learned and go back to step 2.
  6. Lock it, then build. Document what you chose and why, then build within the scope and limits you set.

Then verify. Did what you built solve the problem you framed? If it did, put it into service. If not, reframe with what you learned and bring it back to the counsel table.

yaatz — from the Hebrew ya'ats, to counsel. To yaatz it is to put a problem to the counsel table before you decide.
