My AI journey
I needed this before I built it.
I have been in business for myself for over thirty years — real estate, restaurant development, consulting, and an accredited online school I have run since 2012.
Daniel's story
None of that made me technical.
A while back, one of my businesses needed real work done: a website, a student system, the software behind it. I hired consultants and developers. Months went by and nothing worked. If you have ever paid someone for months with no way to tell whether it was going well or going nowhere, you know the feeling.
So I stopped hiring and took it on myself.
Without any engineering or programming experience, I built what we needed — the site, the databases, the billing, an automated answering service. Then I built software of my own for working with AI, because the tools I wanted did not exist. This website is mine too.
That is what YAATZ came out of. Not a theory about AI, but the methods I worked out while actually building things with it, written down while I was doing it.
I am still building. The businesses I run are the proving ground, and I am documenting what happens as I go — what works, what doesn't, and what it actually takes to get real work out of AI when you are not an engineer.
If you are running something real and want to see how far this goes, follow my journey.
