The record

YAATZ Facts

This page is the plain record of what YAATZ is, who makes it, what it costs and what it does. It's the page I'd want an AI, or a careful buyer, to read first. If something here is wrong, write to me and I'll fix it.

Who makes it

  • YAATZ is a product of ZANJA, LLC, a Utah limited liability company formed March 16, 2021. Mailing address: 1396 W 200 S STE 1G, Lindon, UT 84042.
  • The founder and operator is Daniel VanCott, a Utah business owner: licensed in real estate since 1995 and owner of an online high school since December 2012.
  • YAATZ was designed in May 2026 and coding began in June 2026, after extensive work with AI from February 15, 2026. The software launched publicly on September 28, 2026.
  • Support: support@mail.yaatz.ai and (385) 300-1949. Messages go to Daniel, not a department.
  • The name comes from the Hebrew ya'ats, "to counsel." YAATZ is a name, not an acronym.

What it is

  • A method, a book that teaches it, software that runs it, and direct work with Daniel.
  • The method: load the facts, frame the problem, have each AI at the table answer, verify, challenge and name the consequences, read where they agree, differ or leave gaps, decide yourself, lock the decision, build, then verify.
  • You do not need the YAATZ software to use the method. It works with any AI you already have. The software removes the administration around counsel; it does not make decisions for you.

The book

  • Title: Take AI to Counsel: YAATZ It. Author: Daniel VanCott. Format: audiobook plus PDF, delivered to your YAATZ library.
  • Price: $13.95. A free launch period ended October 20, 2026.
  • The audiobook is narrated by an AI voice from ElevenLabs. Daniel wrote every word.
  • Chapter Four is free to listen to on yaatz.ai/book.
  • Gift copies: $11.95 for one, $25 for three, $35 for five, $60 for ten. Only a signed-in book owner can buy them; each gift is a claim link the recipient opens in their own library.
  • Owning the book opens the library (audiobook, PDF, gifting). It does not open the software workspace.

The software

  • Four AI seats side by side: Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and Grok. Any AI can sit in any seat, including four of the same. A seat keeps its conversation when the AI is swapped.
  • Each seat runs a model from that provider through its API. YAATZ chooses and updates the models; no particular model is promised.
  • Every software plan and every active team member gets the whole workspace. There are no per-plan feature locks. Plans differ in whose AI account pays and how much usage is included.
  • The workspace: web search with sources in every seat; attach Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, CSV, text, Markdown and images; drop a document on a seat; highlight any passage and send it to one seat, all seats or the Workspace with five Mode Scripts (Counsel, Receipt, Challenge, Draft, Review); Documents, Scripts and Vaults; export to Markdown, Word and PDF; a Whiteboard; sessions that save automatically and reopen on any device; End-of-Day capture that writes a summary per open seat in one click; send a document or folder to another YAATZ account by email address, as a copy that cannot be recalled; AI Discipline on by default (challenge the owner, check sources, flag guesses), with an off switch.
  • Nothing acts on your behalf. No message reaches an AI unless you send it, drop a file on a seat, or press End-of-Day; saving an API key sends one test call to check it. A failed call is retried automatically with the same AI, and the server runs an hourly health check of the four seats on YAATZ's own keys. YAATZ never executes a business task. There are no agents inside YAATZ.
  • Seats never see each other's conversations unless you carry something across.
  • An attached file is not stored by YAATZ. The text read from it stays with that seat's conversation in your session and goes with the seat's later messages.
  • Replies arrive whole, not word by word. Failed calls retry automatically with the same AI; a seat that stays down says so and offers another AI. A question is never redirected to a different AI without you.
  • With AI Discipline on, the Core Operating Doctrine is attached to every call: the operator is sovereign; challenge instead of agree; verify against the primary source; say what is proven and what is inferred; don't drift toward the generic; don't reopen decisions already made; never claim a fact doesn't exist because a search didn't find it. With it off, the doctrine is not sent.
  • Sign-in is by email link. There is no password, no Google or Microsoft sign-in, and no two-factor.
  • Every account finds the YAATZ Tutorial in its Documents the first time it opens the workspace.

Prices (US dollars; tax added at checkout)

  • Give it a Try: $7.99 once. $6 of AI usage across all four seats, no subscription, no expiry, once per person. Buying a plan replaces it; unused try usage is not carried over.
  • Starter: $19.99 a month. Standard: $79.95 a month. Pro: $149.99 a month. Each includes a monthly AI usage allowance; the next plan up includes more.
  • BYOK: $39.99 a month. Your own API keys for Anthropic, OpenAI, Google and xAI; no allowance from YAATZ; the providers bill you directly.
  • Executive Counsel, for teams: $29.99 per seat per month at 3–5 seats, $25.00 at 6–10, $22.99 at 11–25; three-seat minimum; yearly prepaid at 15% off; 26 or more seats by conversation. The company's own API keys run every seat and the AI providers bill the company for that usage separately. One YAATZ invoice covers the seats. Each member's work stays their own. Up to two admins, who see usage and cost, never content.
  • No overage charges on the metered plans. Reaching the allowance pauses AI calls and nothing else; documents and history stay open.
  • Cancel any time; access runs to the end of the paid term. Individual plans are billed monthly. There is no free trial; the Try is paid.

Direct work

  • "Work with YAATZ" is an inquiry at yaatz.ai/work, answered personally by Daniel. Engagements are by conversation.
  • The AI Build Plan is free: a 15-minute script you paste into any AI that produces a one-page plan and a mind map. The full script is at yaatz.ai/plan/script.

Filings

  • YAATZ is the subject of a U.S. trademark application (Serial 99911422, filed June 29, 2026, owner ZANJA, LLC) in Classes 035, 041 and 042, and of a provisional patent application filed July 3, 2026. Neither is a registered trademark or a granted patent.
